July 8, 2003: Weather Connections Corporation - Weather Connections launched a free version of the popular Weather
Depot software today.
The free version will provide users access to limited portions of the premium version of Weather DepotSM, including
the Weather Planner, still NEXRAD radar, and current Severe Weather maps.
As with the premium version, users will still be able to save up to 5 locations.
Other additions to all versions of Weather DepotSM include:
> A weather store with hundreds of weather instruments for the home, lawn, and garden.
> A travel store featuring everything for the well-equipped traveler.
> Links to hotel, rental car, and airline search and reservations.
> A detailed listing of United States web cams.
> A detailed listing of United States road conditions.
